HuffPost Editor Roy Sekoff appeared on the Joy Behar Show tonight to discuss the ideal replacement for outgoing White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, as well as the swearing in of the new Congress.

Given new Speaker of the House John Boehner's propensity for crying at almost any significant occasion, Sekoff was surprised that he didn't break down even further than he did, considering he as "valedictorian at the Glenn Beck school of public weeping."

He also pointed out that Pelosi and Boehner had a little Sonny and Cher thing going on when she handed him an oversize gavel and started joking about its size.

The significance of Gibbs leaving, Sekoff believes, is that it shows Obama and his team are getting very serious about gearing up for his re-election campaign: "Let's take the battle-hardened pros and have them focus on the campaign."
