Rush Limbaugh Claims Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama 'Sympathize With Boko Haram'

Rush Limbaugh Blasts #BringBackOurGirls

Rush Limbaugh took his criticism of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign one step further on Tuesday, and accused Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama of sympathizing with the girls' kidnappers.

The hashtag, which has become a global symbol to spread awareness of the 276 schoolgirls kidnapped in Nigeria by Boko Haram, has been used by world leaders, celebrities, politicians and international organizations to demand the girls' safe return. But Limbaugh isn't buying it.

The conservative radio show host slammed users of the hashtag and said that leading ladies Clinton and Obama are not standing against Boko Haram, but rather sympathizing with them in order to be "friends."

"The Regime, Hillary, Michelle Obama sympathize with Boko Haram," he said. "They’re blaming the Christian Nigerian government for creating Boko Haram, and they want to get rid of the Nigerian government, because if you do that, if you appease the terror group by getting rid of the group you think is responsible for their existence, then you’ve made peace with them."

Limbaugh blasted everyone involved with the hashtag activism for thinking that by "simply caring" that they are "causing worldwide action to take place."

"The people on Twitter that are all behind the hashtag, they have no clue what's going on here," Limbaugh said. "They think they're really getting behind the kidnapped girls and that they're really helping."

Limbaugh is not alone in his distaste for #BringBackOurGirls. Fox News and several other conservative voices have criticized the hashtag for being "cheap" and a tool to make people "feel better about themselves."

To Limbaugh, the whole thing is incomprehensible.

"I’m sorry, my ability to comprehend liberalism only goes so far."
