Russell Brand On Jimmy Kimmel: Comedian Talks 'Love X-Change' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Russell Brand Tries To Get On Santa's 'Nice' List

It looks like Russell Brand will definitely be on Santa's "nice" list this year.

The performer showed up at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday to promote his upcoming show with fellow comedian Sarah Silverman.

But instead of shelling out some cash for these hot tickets, Brand said, fans are encouraged to "donate your love (not sexual)" to one of six local charities in Los Angeles.

Fans can sign up for tickets on Facebook if they pledge to donate time to either Habitat for Humanity, RootStrikers, Friendly House LA, The Art of Elysium, Los Angeles Food Bank or the Los Angeles Animal Alliance.

"I've decided, Jimmy, at long last, to finally subvert capitalism," Brand explained.

Playing the part of a Grinch, Kimmel poked holes into Brand's idea: "You take them on their word that they will deliver the two hours... they promised?"

For now, Brand is deciding to trust Angelenos -- both in keeping with the spirit of the holidays and for practical reasons. "We can't go 'round their houses with weapons and go, 'oy, did you help the Animal Alliance?'" he said.

Come to think of it, It would be pretty sweet if Brand showed up at our homes with a firearm; a modern-day gangster for good, if you will. But we'll just have to settle for seeing the British funnyman at the Wiltern this Sunday.
