According to MyRandolphSports.com, Ryan made the shot at Eastern Randolph High School, where he's a 10th grader.

And Ryan's not just great on the basketball court. A photo essay from the News & Record shows the teen wrestling, throwing and catching a frisbee, and playing football.

According to a 2011 article on MyRandolphSports.com, Ryan plays linebacker and defensive end. "I enjoy knocking people down,” he told the website. "We do a lot of conditioning, which I also enjoy."

On Monday, Matt Stutzman, who was also born without arms, won a silver metal in archery at the 2012 Paralympic Games.
