Ryan Reynolds Uses 'The Bachelor' For Shameless 'Deadpool' Promotion

Ryan Reynolds isn't above a little self-promotion, especially if it's for his new film, "Deadpool."

On Monday night, the actor took to Twitter to join in on the night's most important topic of discussion: "The Bachelor." He tweeted along, providing hilarious commentary on the romantic reality show, while at the same time hyping up his new Marvel movie.

And what better way to reach the (mostly) female demographic than with a promo spot during the premiere of "The Bachelor"? It's a genius marketing strategy, really.

Just check out some of his tweets below, and try to pretend you're not even a little bit interested in seeing the superhero flick.

Oh, and to make things even more enticing, the tv spot featured a shot of Reynolds taking his top off.

"Shameless Bachelor-bating tv spot," he captioned the video. At least he's self-aware!

"Deadpool" hits theaters on Feb. 12.
