South Korea's Sa Jae-Hyouk was the defending Olympic champ in the men's 77-kilogram lift, but today, things took a turn for the worse.

For his first snatch attempt of a possible three, Sa successfully raised 158kg (about 348 pounds). But about midway through his second lift, totaling a significant 162kg (about 357 pounds), it was apparent something was wrong. As the video shows, the former champ couldn't get out of squatting position, and his elbow buckled.
