Sage Stallone Death Investigation: Drug Dealing Suspicions Arise (REPORT)

Sage Stallone, Drug Dealer?

Los Angeles law enforcement officials investigating the death of Sage Stallone are reportedly looking into the "likely scenario" that the 36-year-old was dealing drugs.

"Several little baggies" containing white powder, "60 gigantic empty prescriptions bottles" and a prescription for hydrocodone, the generic Vicodin, were found in Stallone's L.A. home. However, according to new information obtained by TMZ, law enforcement officials working on the case do not believe Stallone was a drug user, but rather a drug dealer.

TMZ reported that law enforcement sources say it is unlikely Stallone was a drug user since he was 5'7" and 188 pounds at the time of death. "He was pudgy, and drug addicts are almost always rail thin," the source told TMZ.

Police reportedly hope to trace the batch numbers and serial numbers on the 60 prescription bottles found in Stallone's apartment.

Sasha Czack, Sage's mother and Sylvester Stallone's first wife, told the New York Post that her son had been on painkillers after having five teeth pulled in the weeks before his death.

“I told him not to do that," Czack told the Post. "I’ve heard about people dying having multiple procedures done to your mouth. Do not have more than one tooth [pulled]."

Although the autopsy is complete, the toxicology report and an official cause of death are still pending. The Los Angeles Times reported that detectives are unsure whether pills played any role in the actor's death.

Stallone's friend, Stephen Wozniak, said there is one cause of death scenario that should be ruled out: suicide.

"I'm certain that this really horrible thing that happened was an accident," Wozniak told E! News. "It could have been anything -- but nothing like suicide. I knew him pretty well."

He also insisted to E! News that he never saw his friend "drink or party."

"He would have withdrawal and get depressed," Wozniak told E! News. "He would try to overcompensate. He would try to clown around and I know that those are things people do, medicate or wake up. He was no different. Very few people were telling him 'don't do that.' I did. He was very resistant when [you would tell him that]. It was a sore point with him."

Sylvester Stallone has said very little about the death of his oldest child. Though he did tell TMZ that he wants "the speculation and questionable reporting" to stop.

"When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain," he told the website. "Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha."
