Fox News Guest: San Bernardino Shooting Raises Questions On 'State Of Feminism In Muslim America'

This man is a doctor, folks.

It's become a habit for the media to speculate on the causes of mass shooting after mass shooting, but on Thursday, Fox News came up with a new culprit altogether -- feminism.

On "Fox & Friends," guest Michael Welner gave his take on the Wednesday shooting in San Bernardino, California, that left 14 dead and 21 others injured at a social services center.

"When you see a woman involved, the natural questions we have to ask are, what is the state of feminism in Muslim America?" said Welner, a forensic psychiatrist.

Welner was referring to 27-year-old Tashfeen Malik, one of the two suspects killed after yesterday's shooting. Malik was married to Syed Rizwan Farook, the other suspect, for two years and had a 6-month-old child with him, according to The Los Angeles Times.

"You're talking about a woman who left a baby behind," Welner added. "And that either speaks to her own extreme faith or her essentially being under the domination of a more psychopathic individual."
