Comedian Nato Green Gets Swallowed by Giants Fans (VIDEO)

On Sunday, October 28, 2012, I was scheduled to fly back to New York City to my job as a writer for Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell on FX. Apparently, inclement weather on the Eastern Seaboard prevented that.

Instead, I headed down to Civic Center to join 10,000 of my fellow San Franciscans watching live as the Giants swept the Tigers on game four of the World Series.

I know so little about sports that I don't know what happens in a baseball game to make the teams take turns at bat. I've heard of innings and strikes and then it gets hazy for me.

But with heart and mind open, I sought to understand. Not one to skimp on anything, the person filming was a bona fide GENIUS of film: MacArthur award-winning filmmaker Natalia Almada. Full disclosure: she's also my wife's cousin.

With cameras rolling, I was swallowed by a mob of Giants fans. I think I deserve a tenure-track position in American Studies now, right?
