Santigold Performs At Fontainebleau For Absolut Miami Launch

Quick, what's Absolut Miami taste like? Silicone and coco butter? Wrong: the locally-branded vodka tastes like passion fruit and orange blossoms.

At the official launch party this Thursday at the Fontainebleau, vodka will flow and Santigold will perform.

Santigold released her debut album Santogold in 2008 with tracks like "L.E.S. Artistes."

After a name change, this former-frontwoman for Philly punk band Stiffed has been collaborating with the likes of Karen-O, touring with M.I.A. and Bjork, and popping into Miami every so often for a brand party like this one.

This spring, she'll release her sophomore album, Master of My Make-Believe. She told V Magazine that she's been working with TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek and the Yeah Yeah Yeah's Nick Zinner on the new tracks.

The Absolut Miami party goes down this Thursday from 8 to 11 p.m. on the Fontainebleau's ocean lawn.
