Mom Gives Daughter Lipo Voucher For Christmas

Sarah Burge, the woman known as the "Human Barbie," gave her daughter Poppy a bizarre stocking stuffer this Christmas: a liposuction voucher worth about $11,000.

The 7-year-old was reportedly excited about the gift, and mom is confident the money will be well spent one day in the future.

In an interview with the British tabloid Closer, Burge disclosed her thoughts about what some are calling an inappropriate gift for a young girl.

"She asks for surgery all the time. She wants to look good and liposuction is one of those procedures that will always come in handy," Burge told the magazine.

The full interview is featured in the current issue of Closer, which is available in the United Kingdom.

But the liposuction voucher isn't the first cosmetic surgery gift certificate Poppy's received from her mother.

Last year, the self-proclaimed little "diva" received a voucher for breast augmentation, which she can redeem at age 18, if she so chooses.

"I think it's great because you can change yourself if you're not happy," Poppy said in a video interview that aired on daytime talk show "The Doctors."

Burge defended her nontraditional gift to Poppy, arguing that it makes her daughter happy.

"Girls don't want Snow White and Cinderella any more ... I'm just supporting her and making her dreams come true," she told Closer during a recent interview.

Burge first came into the spotlight after undergoing hundreds of plastic surgery procedures.

In a video segment featured on "The Doctors", the mother even confessed she liked being awake during procedures so she can tell doctors exactly what she wants.

"If he's not pulling tight enough, I'll say 'pull a little bit tighter,'" she said.
