She's back!

Sarah Palin returned to Fox News on Monday with an appearance on the network's morning show, "Fox & Friends." The network announced last week that Palin would return to Fox News as a paid contributor. The former Alaska governor was hired by Fox News in 2010 and reportedly signed a $1 million-a-year contract with the network.

In addition to weighing in on the IRS scandal involving Tea Party groups in Cincinnati, Ohio, Palin updated viewers on what she's been up to recently.

"I am doing great, very busy, of course, with my two beautiful grandkids," she said. "I'm writing a book about Christmas and pushing back on the politically correct who have tried to take Christ out of Christmas ... at the same time a very festive and happy and jolly book about tradition and recipes and fun things about Christmas!"

Palin also discussed NSA leaker Edward Snowden and responded to Fox News' exclusive interview with his father. "I would just say that nothing will ever be the same for his son or for his family," Palin said of Snowden's father. "Nothing will ever be the same for this family."
