Sarah Palin On Future Presidential Run: 'I'm Not Sure What The Future Holds'

Sarah Palin 2016?

When the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee was asked by Extra if she has any plans to make a run for the White House on Wednesday, she said, "I don't know. I'm not sure what the future holds." She added, "Que sera sera."

Palin made the remarks just before the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Mitt Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan.

According to a Pew Research Center survey, Palin was viewed more favorably than Ryan this time four years ago.

On a different front, Palin's father and brother, Chuck Heath and Chuck Heath, Jr., are out promoting their new book about the former governor.

The Washington Post's "The Reliable Source" blog reports that Palin's father thought his daughter looked like a "bulldog" when she was born, appearing "round and pink with a shock of black hair."

The book, Our Sarah: Made in Alaska, also reportedly includes the suggestion that aides to John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign tried to "micromanage [Palin's] responses" for her debate against Biden. According to "The Reliable Source," Chuck Heath and Chuck Heath Jr. write, "They couldn’t bear the thought of acknowledging that she had political instincts at least equal to their own."

Ahead of Thursday night's debate, Ryan told CNN in an interview that he did not reach out to Palin, who faced off against Biden during the 2008 election, before the showdown.

"I really don't know her," he said. "I only met her once and that was about two years ago."
