Savannah Guthrie isn't quite ready to be the fifth member of the gang on "Girls."

The "Today" co-host sat down to interview "Girls" creator and star Lena Dunham for an interview that aired Friday. After discussing the HBO show and Dunham's upcoming "Saturday Night Live" gig, Guthrie — who described herself as a huge fan of "Girls" — joked that she would love to be part of the crew with Hannah, Marni, Shoshanna and Jessa.

And just in case Dunham might have thought she was too "boring" or "straightforward" for the show, Guthrie brought along storyboards to pitch her character.

“Beautifully done, Savannah,” Dunham praised. “I'll take it back to the writers room and we'll give it serious consideration.”

“That sounds like a blowoff,” Guthrie said.

“Honestly, I'm not sure whether you're willing to show nipple,” Dunham wondered.

Guthrie laughed and admitted, “You know what, spoiler alert! I'm not."
