SC Gov Haley Addresses Black Lives Matter & Donald Trump

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley spoke at the National Press Club on Wednesday about racial harmony and healing the state in the wake of a church shooting that left nine people dead at a historically black church in Charleston.

Governor Haley pointed out that unlike the civil unrest in cities like Ferguson and Baltimore due to the Black Lives Matter movement, South Carolina came together and sought to remove the Confederate flag, which is a symbol of racial hatred for many, off of State Capitol grounds.

Governor Haley also shared her thoughts about the 2016 election, Donald Trump's stance on immigration, and how she can better reach millennials in her state.
