A Suffolk University/Boston Herald poll released Thursday shows that Brown is trailing incumbent Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), 52 percent to 39 percent. The poll of 800 likely New Hampshire voters also found that only one in three voters have a favorable opinion him, compared to 42 percent holding an unfavorable opinion of him.
The poll arrives days after Brown dismissed a Fox News report claiming certainty that he was running in New Hampshire.
"I know what the timelines are and when I need to make a decision, one way or the other," Brown said in an email to Politico.
Most polls included in HuffPost Pollster's latest compilation of publicly available surveys show Shaheen's lead over Brown to be narrower than 13 points, with margins as narrow as three points (PPP, 1/9/14-1/12/14).
