So much drama.

Things could be getting messy for Scottie and Larsa Pippen, or the couple could be on the road to reconciliation ― it just depends on who you ask.

The former NBA player filed for divorce from the former “Real Housewives of Miami” star last week, which took most people by surprise. TMZ reported that Scottie filed due to Larsa’s reportedly “cozy” relationship with rapper Future.

Few details were available when news of the split first broke, but court documents obtained by RadarOnline show that Scottie stated the marriage was “irretrievably broken” as grounds for divorce.

According to the documents, the 51-year-old is asking for “ultimate responsibility” of the couple’s four minor children and states that he will file a petition for relocation on their behalf. The athlete is seeking to move his children from Miami to Chicago, but he states that if the request for relocation is not granted, he’d like the court to award him custody of the children the “majority” of the time.

The divorce documents also state that Scottie has asked for the right to “amend” the couple’s prenup to avoid paying his wife of 19 years alimony.

The Pippens’ marriage seems to have ended on a particularly sour note. TMZ reported Saturday that police were called to the couple’s home twice in the past three weeks for domestic disturbances. According to the website, Larsa told the police the first time that she and Scottie were involved in a “heated verbal argument” that never became physical. The second incident took place two days later, on Oct. 4, and police were again called to the home.

All of that suggests a nasty divorce lies ahead for the couple, but Larsa’s representative is “fairly certain” the Pippens will reconcile. The rep would not comment to Page Six on rumors about the 42-year-old’s relationship with Future, claiming the couple’s split was the result of an argument over Scottie’s desire to move to Chicago for a job with ESPN.

“The tension between [Scottie and Larsa] started months ago during playoffs when Scottie brought another woman to a playoff game. Scottie has been married to Larsa for almost two decades and has had no problems with her social media,” the rep said, adding, “He’s sending her messages. They’re communicating. I don’t think they’re going to pull the trigger. He was saying, ‘I miss you. Let’s talk.’”

A request for comment made by The Huffington Post to Scottie Pippen’s attorney has yet to be returned by time of publication.
