Sean Hannity Responds To Megyn Kelly Primetime Rumor (AUDIO)

Sean Hannity Reacts To Major Megyn Kelly Rumor

According to Thursday's Drudge Report, "top sources" said that Kelly would be moving to Hannity's 9:00 p.m. hour and that the announcement would be made later in August.

Hannity also reacted to the rumor on Thursday, but did not confirm or deny its validity. "I am actually enjoying people that really don’t know a whole lot, just going nuts. So I’m going to leave it there, just for fun," Hannity said on his radio show. "Let's just say in the end, I'm very happy. That's all I can say at this point."

TVNewser reported that Fox News chief Roger Ailes addressed the rumor during a 21st Century Fox investors conference on the same day, saying that he would not comment on Kelly's primetime gig. He did tease upcoming announcements that not only seemed to impact Kelly and Hannity, but Fox News' beloved daytime and cable primetime host, Shep Smith. While the network's specific plans remain a mystery, one thing is quite clear: the number one cable news network that has not touched its prime time lineup in many years is about to implement some major changes.
