Season 8 of Master Chef set to premiere a new type of chef that no one saw coming

Host and award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, world-renowned pastry chef Christina Tosi and James Beard Award-winning chef and restaurateur Aarón Sánchez welcome 40 of the nation’s best home cooks to the MASTERCHEF kitchen on the Season Eight premiere of MASTERCHEF, airing Wednesday, May 31 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

One of the chefs that many would not expect yet will sure captivate viewers, is Lauren Lawless. Lauren is from Southern California, a blonde bombshell mother, finishing college, that works a full time job, yet wanted to persue her dream in culinary. She has a strong voice and is determined to show the world her heart through her food. 

Lauren's backstory, passion, and determination is what might surprise although inspire so many. Lauren is not classically trained although was picked out of 34,000 candidates. 

Chef Lawless is a woman after Anthony Zimmern's heart. She is fearless and most times you'll see her trying such things as eyeballs, snails, tongue, intestines, and bugs!

After the premiere, Lauren will host a private tasting event in La Jolla, California in July, which is by invite only. Later in 2017, Lauren plans to publish her own cooking book.
