Selena Gomez is set to make her music comeback in just two weeks at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards.
Gomez will perform her new single, "Come & Get It," live at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, April 14, MTV News reported. She is slated to debut the song, written by Ester Dean and Stargate, just days earlier on "On Air With Ryan Seacrest."
"It is my first performance back as a musician," she told MTV. "I'm so nervous! I think it's really cool, 'cause I got to take a year off of music and really be a part of great movies and work with great people [...] I thought it would be perfect that I kind of got into music again through MTV and then the Movie Awards. So I thought it would be appropriate. I'm so stoked!"
To get fans ready, Gomez posted the cover art for "Come & Get It" on her official Facebook page on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, on March 13, another new track called "Rule the World" leaked online. The beat-heavy breakup anthem hints that this album will most definitely get personal for Gomez, possibly revealing some of the emotions behind her split from Justin Bieber.
The new album is Gomez's fourth studio effort, which she described as "a little island-y, a little Spanish-y and a little pop –- but almost dance pop."
"It’s kind of all over the place, but I’m really excited about it," the actress told The Hollywood Reporter. "It’s definitely the hardest I have ever worked on a record, that’s for sure. I wanted to have more creative control over the album’s direction."
Gomez hasn't released an album since 2011's "When The Sun Goes Down," which featured the popular "Love You Like A Love Song." Since then, she has been working on her acting career -- with movies like "Spring Breakers" and "Hotel Transylvania" -- and her clothing line, Dream Out Loud.
