After her marked absence from BFF Taylor Swift's festive 4th of July bash, Selena Gomez threw quite a party herself.
The "Can't Keep My Hands To Myself" singer posted a video to Instagram showing her walking through the party, captioned "hostess vibes." The short clip follows Gomez's bottom around the scene while Drake and DJ Khaled's "For Free" plays in the background.
At the end, the 23-year-old turns to face the camera and falls backwards into the pool.
Gomez also posted videos and photos of the party to Snapchat into the night, raising more than a few eyebrows by playing Katy Perry's "Firework." Though the song is a July 4th staple, Perry and Gomez BFF T-Swift have well-documented bad blood.

In May, Gomez herself sparked rumors of conflict with Perry after she was seen canoodling with Perry's alleged boyfriend, Orlando Bloom, at a Las Vegas club -- although the two quickly shut down the gossip via Twitter.
Maybe "Firework" was a sign of a peace offering? Or, you know, just an appropriate thing to play before seeing actual fireworks. We may never know.
