Hana Hwang, Hospitalized Teen, Visited By Selena Gomez, Posts 'Thank You' Video

WATCH: Sick Teen's Touching 'Thank You' Video For Selena Gomez

It can be tough for celebrities to find the time in their busy schedules to meet and interact with fans, but that's exactly what Selena Gomez did for one ailing teen. Thirteen-year-old fan Hana Hwang suffers from a fatal genetic disorder called progeria, a rare genetic condition that causes children to age eight to ten times faster than the average person and shortening their life expectancy considerably. Hana has always dreamed about meeting the "Love You Like A Love Song" singer, and last month, her dream came true. Selena, who was contacted by Ryan Seacrest about her young fan, visited Hana at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). To thank Selena for coming to see her, Hana created a video of herself making Selena a bracelet and explaining why the starlet is so important to her. The touching tribute to Selena was posted on the Children's Hospital Los Angeles' YouTube channel, and now has over 1.5 million views.

And Selena's not the only celeb to give back to CHLA -- Zac Efron spent an afternoon beading with cancer patients in 2009, and the Jonas Brothers held a private concert in 2010 to raise money for the hospital. Click here to read more about celeb visitors to CHLA.
