Teens Post Selfies At Auschwitz In Controversial Facebook Group

Taking Selfies At Auschwitz Is Now A Thing Teenagers Do

They've invaded funerals and "serious places," and now taking selfies at the Auschwitz has become a thing that teenagers do.

A controversial Israeli Facebook group -- whose name The New Yorker translated as "With My Besties in Auschwitz" -- featured teens' photos of themselves posing at the concentration camp, complete with hashtags and other marks of social media culture. The page generated more than 12,000 likes before harsh criticism led to it being pulled down after two days.

HuffPost Live's Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani hosted a panel discussion Monday to dissect the selfies-at-inappropriate-places phenomenon and ask how serious of a transgression these teenagers' photos really are.
