Senator Says Sessions' Excuse For Comey Firing 'Doesn't Pass The Smell Test'

During his appearance before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said that his involvement in the ouster of then-FBI Director James Comey hadn't violated his recusal from the Russia investigation, but Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) didn't buy it. "That answer, in my view, doesn't pass the smell test," Wyden retorted.
