The amazing and complex work of designer Olivier Bourgeais
Creativity, innovation, design and trailblazer are just a few of the momentous amount of words used to describe the accomplished man known as Oliver Bourgeais. A Senior Designer and Creative Director currently based in Santa Barbara California, Bourgeais’ talents excel in the areas of identifying and innovating products to market in the Outdoor and Fashion Industry. From Branding, Product design and even Interior design, he has developed a unique individual approach from his extensive overseas work experience. His esteemed past consists of being educated at the prestigious Design school located in Nantes France, L’Ecole Pivaut. He currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.
Directly after finishing school, Olivier Bourgeais was hired as an in-house designer for a Sports Industry company named Tecnifibre, renowned supplier for the Tennis Pro Tour. Here, his focus was on designing rackets, apparel and accessories for tennis and squash athletes who compete at the highest level. Already having his foot in the world of design, he saw this as an opportunity to jump into the world of fashion. This led him to a rewarding and exciting adventure of becoming an art director at a Communication Agency. Here, he worked in close contact with brands from Australia and New Zealand.
A true renaissance man of many talents and worldliness, Olivier Bourgeais has never been afraid to expand his ever growing umbrella of success. Continuing down the glamorous world of textile and leather work creation, he then settled down at Serge Blanco, a men’s fashion company based in Toulouse, France working as their Brand Design Manager. This gave him the freedom to pursue personal projects in the area of interior design while still advancing ahead in a successful career.
Towards the end of 2015, life brought Olivier Bourgeais to where he resides presently in Santa Barbara, California. He now works full time as the Creative Director of Lifestyledesign. At this global design agency, he partners up and operates with a team of elite designers and engineers to innovate the world of tomorrow. When he is not working, he finds himself spending time with his loving family. Together they travel, live and love life through the incredible experiences they share. As Olivier states, “Kids are very sensitive to art and it’s very inspiring for creativity to travel in their little world…” One can certainly see the amazing accomplishment thus far in Olivier Bourgeais’ life. With no signs of stopping, he will continue to strive for more and create even more incredible work in the days ahead.
