Sepak Takraw: Kung Fu Volleyball Might Just Be The World's Toughest Sport (VIDEO, POLL)

Is This The World's Toughest Sport?

Sepak Takraw is certainly not for everyone.

Take volleyball, soccer and hacky-sack, and throw them all together, and maybe this is what you'd get.

A sport where backflips and bicycle kicks are commonplace.

Sepak Takraw, which roughly translates to "kick ball" in a combination of Malay and Thai, has been around for more than a few decades. In fact, it was apparently first played in the 14th century.

While many Westerners likely haven't heard of it (which explains why the video below has gone so viral in such a short period of time), the U.S. apparently sent a team to the 1989 World Championships, according to The Post Game.

The game itself is played pretty much like volleyball, with scoring up to 21. If the score is tied at 20-20, the score ceiling is reset to 25.
