Good news for Seth MacFarlane! After enraging half of the ladies of Hollywood with his "We Saw Your Boobs" song at the Oscars, he's back on the market -- now if only he can find a date.
E! News reports that the 39-year-old "Family Guy" creator and "Game of Thrones" star Emilia Clarke, 25, have called it quits.
"They are no longer dating," a source told the website. "It was really a location challenge. She has been in Europe shooting Game of Thrones and he is based in California, so it was hard to make it work despite the distance. They have remained friends."
The pair first took their relationship public in September when they were spotted hanging out at HBO's Emmy after party together at the Los Angeles Pacific Design Center, and were later spotted leaving together. At the time, sources confirmed to US Weekly, that the two had already been seeing each other for a "few months."
Prior to hosting the Oscars in February, MacFarlane had only good things to say about Clarke, telling Entertainment Weekly that she is "an incredibly kind, supremely talented person and one of the hardest-working people I have ever met."
The "Ted" writer-director went on to lament the difficulties of dating in Hollywood, explaining, "It’s a pain in the ass because if you date, at a certain point you’re in a relationship and at a certain point you’re playing the field. It becomes this thing of trying to find places where you can have some privacy, where you’re not going to be accosted by people and suddenly linked to someone as if you’re in a serious relationship."
MacFarlane has a point, just as news hit that he and Clarke had broken up, there are already (reportedly false) rumors that he's dating actress Charlize Theron.
In the past, the comedian has been linked to Amanda Bynes, Eliza Dushku, Alexis Knapp and "Twilight" star Ashley Greene.
