Seth Meyers Roasts Donald Trump For Not 'Winning' Like He Promised

Or, as some people may call it, losing.

President Donald Trump vowed on the campaign trail to “win so much” that the American people would “get tired of winning.” But as “Late Night” host Seth Meyers noted Wednesday, it’s not yet really playing out that way.

Meyers explored all the times Trump definitely hasn’t won during his first month in office — from Michael Flynn’s resignation as national security adviser and the federal appeals court shutting down his controversial travel ban to his fraught first telephone call with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Andy Puzder pulling himself from consideration for labor secretary.

Meyers later lightheartedly speculated as to whether Trump was actually calling the media with leaks himself in a bid to get fired. He then likened the “unprecedented level of dysfunction” in the White House to “a really intense haunted house, where every door you think is an exit is just a door to an even scarier room.”

“How do I get out of this fucking place?” Meyers asked. “I wet my pants three rooms ago!”
