New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) was paid a visit by former basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal on Friday.
According to the Daily Record, Shaq visited Christie's office to discuss getting involved in New Jersey's gun buyback program.
Christie told the Daily Record that Shaq, a Newark, N.J., native and co-owner of a theater in the city, has some "good ideas."
“We’ll do something with him," the governor said.
Christie tweeted a photo of himself shaking hands with the 7-foot-1 retired NBA star:
It's been a rather interesting week for Christie. On Wednesday, the New Jersey governor answered kindergarteners' questions, and one little girl asked whether First Lady Michelle Obama was "enchanting."
"Yes, actually she was," Christie answered.
