'Sharknado 3' Is Really Happening

Get Ready For 'Sharknado 3'

The trilogy to end all trilogies?

Two rounds of vicious man-eating sharks just isn't enough for some people. Following the huge success of "Sharknado" last summer, Syfy decided to make a sequel to the ludicrous TV movie, "Sharknado 2: The Second One," and now, just months before the second film's premiere, they've committed to a third shark attack.

That's right, the next two summers are going to be filled with shark-flying, chainsaw-ripping madness. According to Adweek, Syfy has green-lit the third installment of "Sharknado," because the man-versus-shark storyline apparently never gets old. While the first film took place in Los Angeles and the second will be set in New York City, a location for the third has yet to be determined. We're hoping for something really ridiculous, such as maybe the Bermuda Triangle (disappearing sharks?) or a WWII period piece or maybe space (zero gravity shark attack?).

We'll keep guessing until the third film airs in summer 2015. Till then get ready for the second sharkpocalypse to hit on July 30.
