"Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, don't sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy."

~ Dale Carnegie

Today is a great day to celebrate dreamers and visionaries.

Dreamers and visionaries help the world become a better place. They go after what was impossible, uncomfortable and unimaginable. They are the ones on the front line, taking the risk, facing their fears, sacrificing their time, resources and money, and pushing against the odds.

What is your dream?

What's standing between you and your dream?

What do you have to do to overcome that obstacle?

What can you start today to change your tomorrow?

I had the pleasure of interviewing the beautiful and successful Nadine Ramos. She is a big dreamer and a big doer.

Meet Nadine Ramos

Q: Who is Nadine Ramos? and what imprint does She desire to leave on the world?

A: Nadine Ramos is an entrepreneur who started her very own hair care manufacturing company back in 2000 with no experience, no financial support and managed to make over 2 million dollars her first year in business. The legacy I would be most proud of, is to show young women, it does not matter where you come from, if you are a fighter for what is good and what you believe in and desire, there is no stopping you. "Impress yourself with your drive, forget about impressing others who will only hinder your ability to be successful".

Q: Talk about one of the pivotal moments in your life that gave you strength and tell us how did you find that strength?

A: OMG! this moment feels like yesterday. I was 20 years old in my tiny NYC apartment when my lights went out. I did not have enough money to pay the electric bill. All my money was going into the start of LASIO. I realized at that moment, the fear I felt about my bills, the business, the success or failures, was overwhelming. I had to push through and fight harder to make my dream a reality. In the dark I decided to figure it out and to not let that small hurdle define my success.

Q: Tell us about your brand and your passion for your business?

A: My brand message is about going against the beauty grain by promoting the importance of keeping the integrity of healthy hair first. I believe in manufacturing only quality products that will truly bring health back to every hair strand. My business is the hardest thing I have ever worked for. Blood, sweat and tears for real. My passion is driven by the testimonials of each client. When I hear, “Your products have changed my life!”. My heart always skips a beat and it always feels surreal that I really did it! I am impacting the lives of women with a product that makes them feel beautiful. It is priceless.

Q: What inspired you to get into the beauty business and share your story?

A: I was always a fashionista growing up. Dressing up in my mother’s dresses and heels, her makeup and styling my hair was a regular thing in my household. I always had a natural passion for fashion and beauty. When the opportunity for this beauty, business venture presented itself - I grabbed it and ran with it, without a second thought.

Q: What is the message we can hear you shouting or whispering from the mountaintop to those on the climb?

A: Be Stubborn with your dream!!! Never let anyone tell you, you are just a dreamer!

Q: What is your favorite quote and why?

A: "A dream-catcher is someone who believes in a vision and prepares to put action behind their beliefs- and never gives up". This is a quote I created and I live by. I believe that it really defines a true entrepreneur.

Q: You have such a unique signature brand and style how did you embrace your uniqueness?

A: I believe this happened very organically. I knew that I wanted a luxury brand that promotes a healthy lifestyle for women of all background. I approve and promote only and just that.

Q: What does Beauty mean to you?

A: Confidence.

Q: Who would you like to sit down and have lunch with (dead or alive and why?)

A: My deceased mom, to tell her that her strength lives in me and although she left me at such a young age, I learned immensely from her and I hope I make her proud.

Q: What's next for you and your brand?

A: LASIO will launch a new product line May 2017... Thicker and fuller hair SSSH! :-)

Q: Leave us with one last piece of advice.

A: Keep true to who you are, stay teachable, remain humble and always push for innovation.

Q: Where can our readers connect with you?

A: On social media @lasioprofessional @nadineramos_lasio and if visiting our website www.lasioinc.com
