For years, Sheryl Sandberg thought the key to getting more done was getting by on less sleep, she said on a recent appearance on HuffPost Live.

But having children changed her view of shuteye entirely. "It turns out, when children get enough sleep, everything's fine," she says in the clip above. "And when children don't, nothing is. I realized... I'm like that too!"

Since this realization, she's been aiming to get seven to eight hours each night, she said, a big improvement over the four to five she used to squeeze by with.
