The contest will award nine entrepreneurs with $50 thousand in startup money to help emerging stores to grow their businesses. The contest which started October 1 will run to May 31, 2014 during which time contestants will have the opportunity to sell their products through e-commerce giant Shopify. The top nine companies with the highest revenue in sales over a two month period will win.
