Should Prostitution Be Legal? Vote Now! (POLL)

Poll Position: Should Prostituion Be Legal? Vote Now!

It's Friday, and you know what the means -- a new Poll Position and another chance to sound off on a controversial topic facing the LGBT community.

This week's Poll Position question is inspired by Kitty Stryker, a sex worker, activist and writer, who recently shared a blog on Gay Voices entitled "Some People Enjoy Being Prostitutes... Get Over It."

In her piece Stryker proudly discusses about her experience as a sex worker and challenges those who would write off prostitution as always being demeaning, anti-feminist, or unethical.

She isn't alone. Many feel that sex work is not something to stigmatize and argue that it should be legal and celebrated. Consider the Hookie Awards, which take place annually in NYC, and honor the industry's best escorts and "rent boys."

However, others believe that sex work is dangerous, immoral, and should be illegal.

So, tell us, where do you stand on the issue? Vote below and then sound off in the comments section.
