'Side Effects' Trailer: Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum Star In Final Soderbergh Theatrical Film (VIDEO)

WATCH: The Last Steven Soderbergh Movie

Steven Soderbergh has said numerous times that he's retiring from filmmaking. That means the acclaimed director has only two features left: "Side Effects," a theatrical release, and "Behind the Candelabra," an HBO movie about Liberace.

Starring Rooney Mara, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kristen Scott Thomas and frequent Soderbergh companion Channing Tatum, "Side Effects" is out in theaters on Feb. 8, 2013. The first trailer for the film debuted on Friday, offering fans what they expect from a Soderbergh movie: Big stars, muted and digital photography, and some pretty heady intrigue. Want to know what to expect from "Side Effects," about a young couple, a shady therapist and pharmaceuticals? Note that it's being sold as from the team behind "Contagion" (Scott Z. Burns wrote the script), so figure on some kind of conspiratorial madness.

Watch the "Side Effects" trailer above. Soderbergh's "Behind the Candelabra," with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, will air on HBO in 2013.
