'Sister Wives' Finale: Does Kody Brown Want A Fifth Wife?

For the season finale of "Sister Wives," NBC's Tamron Hall sat down with the Browns to chat about the season and their family. One question she posed seemed to get quite a response from the family. Hall asked if Kody wanted a fifth wife.

“Are you going to get a fifth wife?" Christine asked him. "I’m, like, nervous now! You were evading the question, evading the question, evading the question."

Kody did finally answer, affirming that he is not looking to grow their family with the addition of a new sister wife. While he suggested it could maybe happen someday, he said, "We don’t go looking for it."

On Twitter, Meri reiterated that the family was not seeking out another member, adding that the family doesn't appreciate it when women approach them about the idea, either.

Hollywood Life's Tierney McAfee thinks Kody has enough on his plates with the four wives he's juggling now. But notes that the Browns are planning a wedding. It's "a recommitment ceremony to each other! Hopefully we’ll get to see the happy occasion on the fifth season of Sister Wives," she wrote. "We can’t wait!”

The Browns are members of the Apostolic United Brethren Church. While The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has officially rejected polygamy, the Brown family openly continues with the practice.
