Tragedy Strikes Twice On 'Sister Wives'

Tragedy struck again on "Sister Wives." Just a couple of months after losing his brother Curtis in a motorcycle accident, Kody's father, Winn, died of a stroke.

"You had a tenderness to your wives that I got to see. I remember you touching mom’s face and expressing her your love," Kody said at the memorial service. "And as I continue my life in bravery and love, I go with confidence because I was brought up in a fire that forged to manhood by the challenges of this ranch. Thanks Dad. I love you.”

Hollywood Life's Andy Swift wrote that the episode "shows the true strength of Kody’s blended families. For the past four seasons, we've watched the Browns overcome countless struggles, and we’re confident they’ll pull through this one just fine.”

The Browns are members of the Apostolic United Brethren Church. While The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has officially rejected polygamy, the Brown family openly continues with the practice.

"Sister Wives" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
