Sisters Surprise Each Other With Back-To-Back Pregnancy Announcements

"No way!"

When Utah mom Tara Brough surprised her sister with her pregnancy news, she had no idea she was in for a surprise of her own.

Tara and her husband, Zach Brough, share parenting videos on their Broughington YouTube channel. On Sept. 5, the couple posted a video where they announced they are expecting to Tara’s older sister, Carly Walton, and her husband, Mike Walton. Minutes later, Carly had her own announcement to share: she’s also pregnant.

While Tara stuck with the classic “bun in the oven” announcement, Carly casually slid in her exciting news and caught her sister totally off guard.

“I was completely surprised by her announcement,” Tara told The Huffington Post. “I didn’t think they would have kids for another year or so.”

This will be Carly’s first child and Tara’s third. The babies are due two weeks apart, and Tara said learning that their kids will be close in age sent her “over the moon.” Though the sisters live hundreds of miles away in Arizona and Utah, they have still managed to help each other through their pregnancy journeys.

“We love to send Snapchats to each other of how we’re feeling that day or of our baby bumps,” Tara said. “It’s just so fun going through pregnancy with someone you’re so close to.”
