Six Flags Offers A Bone-Chilling Virtual Ride On New 'Joker' Coaster

You might want to put down that sandwich.

Six Flags unveiled huge news for thrill ride fans Thursday with the announcement of new rides to hit each of its theme parks in 2016.

Among the most terrifying best is The Joker, a 3,200-foot-long, steel-and-wood hybrid coaster with the world's first "step-up under-flip inverted roll." This element flips passengers horizontally amid the coaster's three whip-quick inversions and 15 moments of "extreme airtime."

Experts say The Joker could easily become the best new ride of the year when it debuts this spring at California's Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. But for those with strong stomachs, the park was evil kind enough to offer a virtual preview:
