There seem to be two camps concerning guest blogging in the content strategy world:
- The first camp says guest blogging is a waste of time.
- The second says it will skyrocket your business and help you tremendously.

Guest posting also means that you are creating brand exposure. If you focus on a niche in your industry and publish a guest blog on several sites, all of sudden you brand is popping up everywhere. This, my friend, is a beautiful thing for brand recognition.Guest posting means that you are also building relationships with other bloggers and others in your industry. I've had some amazing things come from these types of relationships -- from client referrals to being asked to speak on a teleseminar.
