Of all the spring produce we love, sugar snap peas may be the most beloved. They're a garden staple in the spring, and their arrival means the promise of more great things to come. Sugar snap peas shoot up faster than most the other producing plants, and provide us with naturally sweet and crisp flavors (depending on when you plant them of course).
There's nothing better than eating fresh sugar snap peas straight from the vine, but if you can manage to pick and gather your peas -- or if you're picking them up at the store -- sugar snap peas make a great ingredient to add to your kitchen. Don't forget to give the pea shoots a try too.
