SNL Cold Open: 'Situation Room' Watches Obama Do Stand-Up Comedy (VIDEO)

WATCH: Obama Does Stand-Up On 'SNL'

The latest "Saturday Night Live" with host Ed Helms kicked things off with a political cold open, but this time mocked comedy just as much as today's politics.

On an episode of "The Situation Room" hosted by Jason Sudeikis doing his impeccable Wolf Blitzer impression, a segment focuses on one of Obama's recent speeches in Texas in the wake of Osama bin Laden's demise. While the speech is supposed to be about immigration reform, it quickly devolves into what can only be described as a cocky stand-up comedy routine about his epic win.

The sketch, while overstated at times does a pretty good job mocking terrible stand-up, including cheesy catch phrases and bad white president vs. black president jokes. You'll also like Fred Armisen's depiction of the glib, confident Commander-in-Chief we've never really seen (who no longer cares about people knowing he smokes or that his middle name is Hussein).
