Sofia Vergara Gushes About Her Perfect 'Fairy Tale' Wedding On 'Ellen'

Guests partied until six in the morning!

Sofia Vergara, fresh off her honeymoon with new husband Joe Manganiello, visited "Ellen" on Thursday to dish about her "fairy tale" wedding.

The "Modern Family" star and "Magic Mike" actor wed last month in a lavish ceremony that followed a weekend-long celebration. It really was fit for a princess.

There were about 400 guests present for Vergara's big day -- her "family and closest friends," she said with a laugh -- but one person was noticeably absent: host Ellen DeGeneres.

"I’m sorry I couldn’t make the wedding. I appreciate --," DeGeneres said, before being interrupted by her guest.

"You're not really sorry," said Vergara, later adding, "Why didn’t you make a little more effort to go, it’s not like they're not holding the production for you for one day."

After a little back-and-forth about the host's absence, Vergara went on to gush about her wedding day.

"It was like a dream, like a fairy tale. It came out perfectly like how I wanted," she said. "I have to say, the people that worked helping me do the wedding, amazing!"

Vergara explained that the wedding featured the main party and an after-party, which kept guests celebrating until six in the morning. Among those guests were her "Modern Family" co-stars -- Ed O'Neill, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sarah Hyland, Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen -- who Vergara revealed got a little tipsy.
