Solange Knowles Wears Bold Stripes While Honored At ESSENCE Women In Music Event (PHOTOS)

On Wednesday night ESSENCE honored Solange Knowles and Lianne La Havas at its annual Women in Music luncheon, which was sponsored by the 2013 Lincoln MKZ. NeNe Leakes, Kelis, KeKe Palmer and LisaRaye McCoy, are just a few of the stars that were on hand at the event, which was held in Los Angeles, to fete Solange and Lianne.

Staying true to her love for prints, Solange wore a bold multi-hued, striped Ostwald Helgason blouse, matching skirt and white-and-gold Nicholas Kirkwood pointy-toed pumps. We're definitely adding this look to our personal list of Solange-inspired ensembles. What do you think?

And we can't go without mentioning Jessica's White's unfortunate ensemble at the event. The model's ivory see-through blouse may have seemed like a successful fashion risk at the start, but thanks to a nip slip the outfit has now officially been deemed a wardrobe malfunction. Eek!
