There's no denying Solange Knowles' style star status. Her signature eye-catching style keeps us in a constant state of swoon. And when it comes to her ever-changing hairstyles we are never void of inspiration when dreaming up our next look.
And just in time for Throwback Thursday, we're reminded of this fact. On Wednesday night, Ms. Knowles stepped out wearing a head full of hip-length box braids that harken back to the early 2000s when she was just a budding star.
Since then, Beyoncé's little sister has become a bona fide star and her tresses have too. In 2009, she shocked everyone after cutting off her chemically treated hair -- which she told Oprah was an act of liberation, and ultimately became one of the catalysts of the natural hair movement. And in 2012 her hair was the center of a TSA hair frisking debacle, and also a major beauty campaign for Carol's Daughter.
Whether she's rocking a halo of curls, a teeny weeny Afro, a sleek blowout or a set of regal braids, Solange is a never-ending source of hair looks that we can call take cues from.
