So we can't all be Solange Knowles, but maybe taking inspiration from her style to update in our home might be enough to up our cool factor just a bit. She's all about bold colors, interesting textures and patterns and mixing prints. So why can't we follow suit in all the rooms of our house? Well, we can. There's no need to be nervous -- I'm not saying you should pick four different wallpaper patterns to plaster across your living room or paint stripes in your bathroom.
It's as simple as picking a few accessories that add your favorite hues and patterns to your already awesome bedroom or entryway. Once you realize how easy one or two additions are, then the next step is to tap into your adventurous side and update a whole room.
