Solange Knowles is a very busy gal. She's been on the road sharing music off her new EP, "True," dazzling the fashion world with her sensational sartorial skills and being the best mom possible to 8-year-old son, Julez.
However, the singer/model/DJ/BFF-in-our-head was able to find some time to chat and strike a pose for Net-A-Porter's e-zine The Edit while overseas in Croatia, Senegal and performing at England's premiere music festival, Glastonbury.
“I’m having the time of my life. I have one of the best jobs in the world, and to be able to [perform] for an hour a day and make a career out of it, I’m incredibly humbled by it," Solange told The Edit.
Sadly all that fun caught up to the "Losing You" singer and she had to cancel the rest of her European tour dates for August 2013 due to her mental/physical health and desire to provide stability for her family.
But while she might be down, she's definitely not out. Just last week the talented 27-year-old popped up for a gig at a laundromat in Brooklyn. And with any Solange appearance, you know she was serving a major fashion moment.
“Style in anything is very important. It’s how we express our individuality, who we are and what we believe in," she told The Edit. "It’s all a reflection of who I am."
