WATCH: Does Feminism Exclude Women Of Color?

The hashtag #SolidarityIsForWhiteWomen is raising eyebrows and raising awareness on Twitter about the discrimination women of color experience within the feminist movement.

At the center of it all is Mikki Kendal, who created the hashtag in response to a rant by the self-proclaimed "male feminist," Hugo Schwyzer.

Schwyzer stated on Twitter that he'd been particularly awful to women of color. A social media firestorm followed, in which women of color questioned the inclusiveness of mainstream feminism.

Check out Mikki Kendal's HuffPost Live segment (above), where she speaks on the impact of Schwyzer and the conversation it sparked about women of color within the feminist movement. What do you think? Is solidarity only for white women?
