Injured Sports Star Finds Ingenious Way To Keep Working Out

"Where there's a will, there's a way."

The show must go on!

But the injury isn’t stopping the 31-year-old winger from keeping fit — and he’s come up with an ingenious way to continue exercising.

Instead of kicking back and making the most of his time off, Williams posted the above video on Twitter Thursday of him working up a sweat on a rowing machine.

But to do so, he’s strapped his protected left leg onto a longboard — which moves back and forth as he pounds the exercise equipment.

Williams sustained the injury while representing New Zealand in the 7s tournament at the Rio 2016 Olympics. He’s expected to return to the field of play later this year.

His determination to remain fit proves there’s no excuse not to stay in shape next time you feel a bit sore.
