On "Sons of Anarchy," Tara had a deal in place to testify against SAMCRO and gain protecting and freedom for her and her sons. So why didn't she take it? Especially after she'd managed to get her boys out from under the club's watchful eye. Instead, she took them to a motel. Her plans beyond that remain a mystery.
TV Fanatic's Christine Orlando couldn't figure it out. "What is her plan?" she asied. "I understand her not wanting to turn SAMCRO over to the Feds. They've been her family. And leaving Jax is one thing but sending the man she loves to prison is quite another. All that being said I have no idea how she thinks she can escape both the MC and the law. If she's got a master plan I can't wait to find out what it is.”
Over at HitFix, Geoff Berkshire found himself siding with neither parent in this situation. "There's no reason to have sympathy for Jax in this situation, but it's hard to have any sympathy for Tara either since the writers keep forcing her to behave like such an idiot," he wrote. "Heading into the finale I have absolutely no emotional investment in how this turns out, but I'm still curious to see what nutty resolution or insane cliffhanger the writers have in store. I guess that's something?”
